Reminders:
Stay safe on your holidays (You have 2 months/8 weeks).
Be kind to your parents/Guardians.
Have some fun.
Never give up on your studies.
Also Congratulations to our certificate winner: Nevayah Grace-Mati for improving her Writing and Reading. Good Job Nevayah!

I'm going to pass you on to Jeannie who will continue this blog
Jeannie: So, as you know it's the last room 4 blog for the year, we have had our market day and all that events. We have learnt heaps about the 4 contexts throughout this year.
Term 1: We learnt about identity. Identity is things to do about yourself and mainly personal information about you. Also knowing that you are an essential part of your family, school, city, country and the world.
Term 2: We have learnt about function and simple machines. This truly has helped our class learn more about function and what it can do that makes it special. Our big idea was that for things to operate well all the smaller bits that make it up all have a special job or function. When one part is missing or nor working this may effect the function of the machine.
Term 3: Our context was about Global World. Global world is about different countries, about people's lifestyle and they can or could communicate as a team/culture, and how we are all connected.
Term 4: The last term we learnt about different environments. Our main environment we learnt about the most was New Zealand's Marine Environment. It means a lot to us people and to the world fantasy sea creatures. Our big idea was that environments sustain life and we need to be aware of the footprints that we leave.
Well that is all I can say. Like Lana said, have a safe holiday and Merry Christmas!
